We succeeded in downing Nathanos Blightcaller on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at approximately 9:30 pm. Raiders were Mommio, Loor, Farimir, Dewayne, Quif, and Clovagangsta. Loot was Linen Cloth and Runecloth Our first attempt resulted in a failure due to accidental healing (Farimir earlier stated that any kind of heal whether it be, potions, life stealing enchants, warlock drains, pet heals, or bandages would result in The Blightcaller summoning an army of Skeletons). The second attempt was a success. We were doing great until Dewayne healed his pet, reflexively by mistake, which resulted in a skeletal army. Luckily we managed to kill Nathanos with both tanks, Farimir and Mommio dieing. The rest of the group managed to fight off the Blighthounds and Skeletal army. The raid was dedicated to Loor whom could not renew his account, that night being his last. He hopes to renew it soon but he may not be able to. The guild wishes Good Luck to Loor where ever he may go.
Ok, I know, it's lvl 60 (and barely that) endgame. Why do it? To introduce us to it. This should be pretty easy for us and it will be fun. Read about my plan on how to down him. Click on his name to see a Screenshot of him and get a location and coordinates. Here's the stats:

Well you have the chart, so now here's the plan:
Step 1- Before the Fight: Healers should stock up on mana potions while tanks bring some healing potions, just in case. Upon arrival to the target's location we will gather far enough away as not to aggro him. Keridon will shift in cat form for his dps while Dewayne gets out his pet and marks the target. Healers should each choose a different party member to heal so that we don't have 2 healers wasting mana on the same person. After that Farimir will give a Ready Check and we will begin.
Step 2- The Attack: Mommio will intercept the target while Dewayne and a Paladin (we will decide who later) will follow him. After Mommio's stun ends the Paladin will cast Hammer of Justice to stun the target again while Dewayne lays down a frost trap right in front of the target. Dewayne and the Paladin will run back from the target at a safe distance. The stuns should give the DPS crucial time to do damage. Then the battle begins.
Step 3- The Fight: Once the target recovers from the stuns he will likely summon minions. This is where Sabelmi (Secondary Tank) comes in. She will hold the aggro on the minions while Mommio maintains his on the primary target. If Mommio dies Sabelmi will replace him as main tank while Farimir will grab the aggro on the minions. If a healer dies Keridon will replace him or her. If the minions are too much for one tank to handle Dewayne should send in his pet to attempt to hold aggro on at least one. If at any time a healer is out of mana (and has a potion cooldown) alert the group and Keridon will replace them.
Step 4- After the Fight (Success): Loot will be distributed evenly (if any, no promises). You must ask to need an item and can only need it if you are actually going to use it (not sell it). Quest items may drop so if you see an item looted that was never rolled for click on it and see if it says "Unique: Quest Item" before going insane.
Step 4- After the Fight (Failure): We will rez and regroup. Then we will review what we did wrong and attempt to correct it. Then we will retry the attempt.
